The Hermit represents secrecy, wisdom, prudence, constancy. It represents an elderly person, spiritually mature, capable of solving a big problem of the consultant.
It can be a guide, a spiritual master, a healer, a grandfather, an ancestor …

Affective plan.

Arcanum number 9 represents pure and deep love. This love is based on spiritual communion. It is solid and can last over time. A period of solitude will be useful to see more clearly in oneself as regards the intentions of the partner.

Professional plan.

Results will be positive but not immediate. The consultant should not put forward hazardous requests.
Research, complications, long-term works are to be expected.

Financial plan.

The Hermit portends a moment of economy and frugality necessary in anticipation of the future. Safe and well-planned investments are predicted by Arcane.
The purchase of public securities, land mining shares or the restructuring of real estate is advised.

Physical plane.

The consultant’s psychophysical energies are not at their maximum. Body and mind remain balanced, however. Advice: the consultant should not abuse his strength and should turn to alternative medicines.

Upside down

In general.

The Hermit Upside Down represents a person who refuses to help, or who tries to harm the consultant. Arcane 9 represents an embittered old man who does not want to share anything with others. He is stingy, lonely and mean.

The consultant (or the consultant’s loved one) will be blocked by his fear of getting involved and his fear of responsibilities. The chances of marriage are absent.
If the consultant is in a relationship, the reluctance to express their own feelings will take over and cause disharmony and stagnation of the couple.

The consultant will be forced to exercise unusual or unpleasant professions. His work will be badly paid, heavy.
